SaaSpotlight (saaspotlight.com) is operated by Axel Schapmann, sole proprietor (entrepreneur individuel), based in France. Contact: axel.schapmann@gmail.com.

By using the site, submitting a product or sponsoring, you agree to these terms.

SaaSpotlight shows two software products facing each other on its homepage, the duel. Visitors vote, the duel ends once it reaches its vote target, and the winner keeps the stage against the next challenger. It also offers up to ten sponsor slots shown on every page.

A visitor is counted once the duel has actually been displayed on their screen, and a vote is counted once per visitor and per duel, with bots and the owners of either product excluded. Counts are indicative of real human exposure; we do not guarantee any number of clicks, sign-ups or sales.

The stage cannot be bought. Any complete product (name, tagline, website) can enter the arena for free. The order is mechanical: the product that has fought the least goes next, newcomers first. A product that loses a duel sits out until the next weekly season, which reopens the arena to everyone. You can withdraw at any time from your dashboard.

The duel, the time on stage and the place in the queue are provided as is; we do not guarantee any number of visitors, votes, clicks, sign-ups or sales. The vote result belongs to the crowd, not to us.

A sponsorship is a monthly subscription for one of the ten slots on the rails. Its price depends on how many slots are taken when you subscribe and stays the same for as long as your subscription runs without interruption. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.

You can cancel at any time from your dashboard (Manage subscription). The slot stays yours until the end of the period already paid, then is released. A failed payment suspends the slot after a short grace period.

The arena is free, so there is nothing to refund there. Sponsorships are not refunded for the current period; cancelling stops future renewals. No prorated refund is made for unused days.

If something goes wrong on our side (a product never shown, a slot not displayed), write to axel.schapmann@gmail.com and we will fix it or refund.

You must own or be authorised to promote the product you submit, and the name, tagline, logo and website you provide must be accurate and lawful. You grant us the right to display them on SaaSpotlight and in our own communications about the site.

We may refuse or remove a product that is illegal, misleading, adult, hateful, infringes someone's rights, or does not fit the site (for example, not a software product).

Do not try to inflate visitor, vote or click counts (bots, scripts, multiple identities, paid traffic aimed at the counters), scrape the site, or interfere with other products. We may remove products from the arena, void a duel, or cancel sponsorships used this way, without refund for sponsors.

You sign in with an email code or Google; keep access to that email safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time.

We aim to keep SaaSpotlight online but offer no uptime guarantee. We may change, pause or stop the service.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost revenue or reputation.

We may update these terms; the date at the top tells you when. Material changes are announced on the site or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Consumers keep the protections of their country of residence. Disputes go to the competent courts of France.
